Welcome to Asharum Amonines
A sanctuary for rest, presence, and inner transformation.
Set amidst the serene natural beauty of the Belgian Ardennes, Asharum Amonines is a dedicated Nâm Meditation Retreat Centre. Rooted in openness, silence, and simplicity, it offers a space to unwind, reflect, and reconnect — with yourself, with nature, and with a deeper sense of purpose.
A Place of Peace and Contemplation
Life at Asharum Amonines follows a quiet, rhythmic flow. A small residential community lives in contemplative dedication and welcomes guests with warmth and care. Whether you're seeking respite from daily life or exploring spiritual depth, our meditation retreat centre holds space for your personal retreat.
Natural harmony: Forests, hills, and open skies surround the retreat centre, inviting rest and deep listening.
Silence & rhythm: Our daily structure gently supports your inner journey, with space for meditation, reflection, and mindful living.
Simplicity: Free from distraction, you’re invited to return to what is essential — awareness, stillness, and connection.
Experience Living Nâm in the Meditation Retreat Centre
Asharum Amonines is inspired by Living Nâm — a universal spiritual attitude rooted in attunement, presence, and meaningful living. Through meditation, silence, and a daily rhythm, we explore what it means to live in resonance within the whole of existence.
For those who feel drawn, there is the opportunity to explore this inspiration more deeply through dialogue, guided practices, and study during your stay.

Silence as a Pathway to Presence
At Asharum Amonines, silence is more than the absence of words. It is a living state of attunement — an invitation to listen deeply, align inwardly, and allow space for healing and insight.
Silence pervades our spaces, not as a rule, but as a gentle invitation to return again and again to the stillness within.
Founded by Yoginâm
The Nâm Meditation Retreat Centre Asharum Amonines was founded by Yoginâm, who envisioned a place of repose, reflection, and universal spirituality. The name Asharum expresses a living principle rooted in Asha — a timeless perspective from the ancient Zoroastrian tradition that reminds us all of our part in a vast, unknowable wholeness.
Through Living Nâm, we discover how spiritual depth and well-being can unfold within everyday life.
